This Privacy Policy explains how Protec Consulting Group LLC ("Protec", "we", "us") handles information in the Protec Client mobile app and on this website. As your licensed insurance agency, we already maintain your account and policy records; the app simply gives you secure access to them.

Information we collect

  • Account & login information — the name and email address (and/or phone number) you provide to sign in.
  • Your insurance information — the policies, coverages, vehicles, drivers, and documents we maintain for you as your agency, shown to you in the app.
  • Requests you make — such as asking us to send a Certificate of Insurance (COI) or an endorsement.
  • Basic technical data — standard device and log information needed to operate and secure the app.

How we use your information

  • To verify your identity and log you in.
  • To show you your policies, ID cards, and documents.
  • To generate certificates and ID cards, and to act on requests you send us.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure the app and our services.

Sign-in codes, not passwords

We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email (or phone). We do not store a password for the app.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the app (for example, email delivery and secure hosting), with the insurance carriers and MGAs needed to service your policies, and where required by law.

Data security & retention

Your information is transmitted over encrypted connections and protected with reasonable safeguards. We keep your information for as long as you are a client and as required by insurance regulations and law.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. You may stop using the app at any time.

Children

The app is intended for our business clients and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date below reflects the latest version.
