How to read this
- These are annual commercial auto liability premiums per truck, before taxes and fees. Half of the policies fell between the lower and higher figures.
- Mostly new and small for-hire Texas carriers, so a large established fleet or another state can land somewhere else.
- Physical damage ran about $1,600 to $3,900 per policy (middle $2,600), and motor truck cargo about $900 to $1,900 (middle $1,200).
- Your price depends on your drivers, record, radius, cargo, state and years in business. Only a quote can tell you yours.
