How to request deletion of your Protec Client app account.

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and data for the Protec Client mobile app, published by Protec Consulting Group LLC.

How to request deletion

There is no charge, and you do not need to be logged in. Choose whichever is easiest:

Include the email address you use to sign in to the app so we can find your account. We will confirm your identity as our client before deleting anything, and we will email you when it is done.

What gets deleted

We delete your app account and everything tied to it:

  • Your app sign-in record and authorization to use the app.
  • Your sign-in codes and active app sessions.
  • Requests you submitted through the app, such as certificate or endorsement requests.

Once this is done you can no longer sign in, and the app will no longer show you anything.

What we keep, and why

Deleting your app account does not delete your insurance records. As a licensed Texas insurance agency, we are required to keep policy files — policies, coverages, vehicles, drivers, certificates, and related documents — under state insurance regulations and our professional obligations, even after you stop using the app or leave the agency. We keep them only for as long as the law requires, and we do not sell your personal information.

How long it takes

  • App account data is deleted within 30 days of a verified request, and usually much sooner.
  • Insurance records are retained for the period required by applicable state insurance regulations and law, then disposed of securely.

Deleting the app is not the same thing

Removing the app from your phone stops your access on that device but does not delete your account. Use one of the methods above to request deletion.
